Meagan Hope Band
The Meagan Hope Band is a Portland, Oregon 6-piece rock and roll band with a singer-songwriter 70's vibe. Meagan, their lead singer and co-songwriter and has often been called a 70's spirit" who grew up in the 90's and she embodies both rock and roll eras. You can hear how their songs have been influenced by bands like, The Doors, The Who, Fleetwood Mac, Soundgarden, The Cranberries and more.
Meagan fell in love with the band The Doors when she was 8 years old. Her song, Ray of Light, is a tribute song to Ray Manzarek, the keyboardist for the Doors who passed away in 2013. In fact, she first met Ray at McMenamins Mission Theater in 1999. You will hear and see rock and roll chasing her soul on stage and in their songs. The Meagan Hope band takes the audience on a journey that most of us are familiar. Songs about love, betrayal, death, grief, spirituality, and the depths of one's soul.
