The Tree People

The Tree People

The Tree People are an eclectic poetic, psychedelic folk pop band who use voice, acoustic guitar, cigar box guitar, wine box bass, flute, trumpet, electric guitar and percussion in their totally original music. Their 1st album, The Tree People, was recorded in a studio in the woods near Eugene, Oregon in 1979 and released locally at coffee houses, concerts, festivals , and record stores. The album was discovered by record collectors around the world in this century and reissued to international critical acclaim by record in Japan and Spain. Guerssen Records of Spain reissued their 1984 album, Human Voices, in 2009 and released their album, It's My Story, in 2010, leading to The Tree People performing at the Musique Disperses Festival in Lleida, Spain in 2011. They have since been featured performers every year at concerts and festivals in Oregon and Washington. Their newest album is The Return of The Tree People.

Bug Toast

World-influenced art pop

Bug Toast

Bug Toast defies categorization, playing genre-bending, progressive chamber folk on bouzouki, accordion, guitar, bass, violin, mandolin, synthesizers, and percussion.

Blended from two musical families, the quintet creates the arrangements together -- richly textured, interwoven pieces with careful attention to counterpoint, voicing, harmonies, rhythms, and interesting time signatures.
