Kung Fu Vampire
Kung Fu Vampire, a
genre-bending artist from San Jose, California, has built a dynamic career
blending hip-hop with theatrical and gothic elements. Starting as a breakdancer
at age 5 and discovering his lyrical talent at 14 while drumming in his high
school jazz band, he launched Kung Fu Vampire in 2001. His acclaimed albums,
including Dead Sexy (2009) and Come Dawn (2023), have earned spots on
Billboard's Top 200 and iTunes Hip-Hop charts, showcasing his dark, cinematic
sound. Known for electrifying live performances, he's graced stages at events
like The Playboy Mansion and the Gathering of the Juggalos while completing 19
tours across North America. Kung Fu Vampire's music has been featured in films
such as Tales of Halloween and Mother's Day, and in 2023, he released the album
Black Heart Machine while also making his acting debut in the award-winning
short film Four Hour Layover in Juarez. Continually evolving, he remains a
powerhouse in the independent music scene.
