Ken Waldman combines Appalachian-style string-band music, original poetry, and Alaska-set storytelling for a performance uniquely his. Twenty books include sixteen full-length poetry collections, twelve CDs, and since 1995 he has appeared at the widest range of venues, from the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage to the famed Dodge Poetry Festival to the Woodford Folk Festival in Queensland, Australia. Heather Tonga

Heather Tonga

Heather Tonga fell in love with the banjo at 16 and has been hauling one around ever since. With the clawhammer style of banjo, she has met many people, and blended in with everything from folk, country, bluegrass, celtic, blues, and Middle Eastern music. Along came Tim Cramer, who had been playing doumbek, djembe and fiddle with a belly dance troupe. He fell in love with violin at 9, and learned the drums too. Together, they will introduce you to original music as Breaking Feat Duo!
