Michael Berly, frontman for Portland roots-rock favorites The Old Yellers, has been playing music and working in the music scene in the Rose City and beyond for nearly a decade. His music is a blend of Americana, folk, bluegrass and singer/songwriter styles and has been featured on Berly's two CDs, one recorded here in Portland and other abroad when he lived in Ireland. Berly is a solid songwriter with a great singing voice and a palpable love of performing. In addition to playing with the Yellers, he is also a practicing Acupuncturist and professor at two different medical schools in town.
