Joshua August Rivera

Joshua Rivera has produced 6 releases and recorded close to fifty original songs varying from dark-folk fairytales to driving psychedelic epics. As he honed his skills from fledgling songwriter to deliberate music-maker he has meandered through various NW ensembles including Weathermaker, Sudden Anthem, and Early Hours. The newest evolution of his work musically is that of a finely woven, sizzling americana-pop that rocks outside of ethnomusical lines when it needs to and lyrically speaks to a new paradigm of compassionate existence while still rooted in the subconscious and gliding into the ether. The music is emotive on a variety of levels and danceable just when you need it.
