Henry Hill Kammerer
Blues, mountain, holler
As the
lead singer-guitarist-banjoist of the Portland band Hillstomp, Henry Hill
Kammerer has quite the impressive resume. Extended tours of North America
including Alaska, the UK, and Europe.
Tours with artists like Rev. Horton Heat, Split Lip Rayfield, and
Seasick Steve, and a rabid fan base all over the Western half of the USA. In
his brand new solo project, Henry Hill still plays slide Guitar and Banjo, but
brings more of a singer songwriter sensibility to the performance. Percussion
is handled by foot stomps tambourine and "Magic Beats". The show has been called both
"Danceable", and "Listenable", in reviews. He is primarily
influenced by hangovers, credit card debt, and Hank Williams. It can get a little bloody, but it sure
sounds good. Henry will be releasing his debut record this winter. Make sure to
stay tuned in!
