AKA- Is a 43 year old hailing from Olympia Washington whose blend of Conscious Hip-hop and instrumentals from SmokeM2D6 provide for a very deep felt experience that leaves audiences feeling vulnerable yet safe. A formula AKA holds to the brightest of lights and makes him a local favorite. He tackles concepts that stand the test of time and always tend to have an overall positive yet not naive attitude to his approach. With DJ Red Pepper dave on the 1s and 2s being a perfect complement it's always a good time. As a touring act he has touched many stages from Ampitheatres to intimate settings and has an arrangement of music for both and has opened for acts such as KRS-1, Naughty By Nature and Devin the Dude as well as a litany of underground artist such as Del the funky homosapien, Sage Francis and Blackalicious.
