Joining John will be longtime collaborator Denny Bixby on bass (Oregon Music Hall of Fame, Rodney Crowell and leader of the local singer-songwriter group, the Ex Nashville Cats) Paul Brainard, steel guitar and trumpet (Alejandro Escovedo, Richmond Fountaine, Decemberists)and Jeff Donavan on drums who has recently relocated to Portland (Dwight Yoakam, Paladins, John Fogerty)
