Created in 2014, Shady GroOove 2 has evolved to include the musical talents of three prominent Central Oregon musicians and provides a charismatic blend of musical genres from the worlds of rock, blues, Americana, jam, and classical. Musical influences include a diverse blend of artists including The Grateful Dead, Phish, The Wood Brothers, Michael Jackson, David Grisman, and David Lindley. The result is a bold, adventurous style of music pushing the envelope of musical exploration while keeping listeners engaged and entertained. The band also includes welcomes in special guest artists for many performances-- affectionately known as "designated hitters"--- from a list of high-profile regional artists. Past guests have included Travis Ehrenstrom (TEB), Mark Ransom (The Mostest), Greg Botsford (GBots & the Journeymen), and Evan Mullins (Watkins Glen).

Spontaneity and tight groove's are the hallmarks of SG2 music with enough chaos to keep things interesting and enough cohesion to make for a great night of music for both listener and musician.
