Portland, OR based Dumpster Joe & the Boys play jazz, rags and country blues tunes from the 1920’s and 30’s on res-o-phonic guitar and cello. They seamlessly mix genres, and present everything in a down home string-band style that is sure too delight young and old. On occasion the duo is joined by pals on fiddle, clarinet, washtub, washboard, musical saw and all other manner of instruments and household appliances. Their vast repertoire of pre-war tunes was learned by fanatically collecting and listening to 78RPM records. Once they get too serenadin’ and syncopatin’ a good time is guaranteed to be had by all!
