Elegant Pleasures are an up-and-coming indie rock band from Tacoma and Seattle, Washington. Formed in 2022, Elegant Pleasures paint with a broad palette, taking inspiration from the sinuous post-punk of Wire and Television, aughts indie heroes like Spoon and the Strokes, psych rock, dream pop, and beyond. Led by the powerful vocals of lead singer Del Brown (one-third of Tacoma-based trio Mirrorgloss), Elegant Pleasures craft tight and catchy songs around nimble guitar riffs (Dan Powers) and propulsive bass (Brandon Anijo), rounded out by Sam McKinney on drums. The band is planning to release an EP in 2023.
