About Tinsley
Tinsley is a Seattle-based singer and songwriter whose music is a heartfelt, yet playful blend of indie pop, rock, and country. Tinsley's songs have garnered radio play on 90.3 KEXP, 107.7 The End, and C89.5, as well as support from American Songwriter, Atwood Magazine, and Ones to Watch. Her 2023 EP "Love Songs" was Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-recognized DJ Marco Collins' number one pick of The Seattle Times' Washington music critics poll.
Tinsley has opened for artists like Sam Fischer, Salt Cathedral, Sheppard, and Girl Ray, and played festivals like Capitol Hill Block Party, The Bite of Seattle, and Belltown Bloom. She got her start by sharing her original songs on YouTube and Instagram, performing in church bands, and playing acoustic shows around Seattle. She quickly became a sought-after vocalist and songwriting partner to some of Seattle's most prominent electronic dance producers. Now, she is pursuing a more organic sound inspired by her favorite artists, including Feist, The Cranberries, and Sharon Van Etten with the arrival of her debut self-titled album.
