Randall Payton, frontman of venerable Portland, Oregon outfit Chez Stadium, can’t stop rewriting his setlist of eccentric folk-pop compositions.

Challenging to label, his infectious, lyric-driven songs draw from Britpop, thirdhand blues, early rock and soul, pensive SoCal acoustics.... Matching wit to wordplay, sourcing arcane and divergent styles, he takes an odd pride in never truly finding his voice.

Sporting comparisons to troubadors such as Warren Zevon, Richard Thompson, Grandpaboy, and GBV, Payton’s various projects have shared the stage with luminary acts like Centro-matic, Clem Snide, Quasi, Hazel, The Long Winters, and actor/director John Cameron Mitchell.

Chez Stadium has released four collections of original material. More recently, his band contributed to Hope of the Hour - A Tribute to Portland’s Dharma Bums.

PLAYING STAGES AND STUDIOS IN PORTLAND AND THE GREATER PACIFIC NORTHWEST OVER THE PAST THREE DECADES, SINGER/SONGWRITER STEVE WILKINSON HAS EARNED A REPUTATION AS ONE OF THE REGION'S MOST CONSISTENT AND HONEST VOICES.

Wilkinson's career started with Gravelpit on the American label Schizophonic Records (I-5 Killers compilation with Everclear, The Wipers, Supersuckers), which released two singles and 2 full-length albums worldwide. Gravelpit later signed acclaimed American psychedelic label, Rockadelic Records, which released their third and final album. Wilkinson then formed Portland's Mission 5, who released two full-length albums and toured the Northwest and Europe to support their releases. He now fronts Portland mainstays Wilkinson Blades, who have released three critically acclaimed LPs. Steve is currently working on his first solo LP which will be released in late 2022.
