About Pascuala Ilabaca Y Fauna

Pascuala Ilabaca Y Fauna

Accordion-wielding Chilean songstress Pascuala Ilabaca is a true hidden gem: A favorite on the strong and new scene of young Chilean singer-songwriters, her music is rooted in traditional sounds but effortlessly integrates shades of jazz, pop and rock, and influences gathered in such distant places as India or mExico. Accompanied by her formidable band Fauna, her unique stage presence conjures up sweetness and empowerment at the same time, setting her songs alive with both fragility and verve.

About Choro Tomorrow

Choro Tomorrow

Olympia-based Choro Tomorrow brings a vibe rooted in Brazil. The six musicians in this group have made a deep dive into Choro (say "shore-o"), which fuses European harmony, intense, fast melodies and Afro-Brazilian rhythms into a joyous mix. Together since 2008, the group is led by Lisa Seifert, who has taken her clarinet to Brazil several times for musical immersion. The band also includes: Sonja Wiedenhaupt - flute/vocal, Brendon Keenan - guitar, David Moseley & Betsy Perkins - percussion, and Lorree Gardener - bass. Expect Brazilian classics as well as some originals recently recorded for our second album (to be released later in 2025).
