About SakéOne: The History of Oregon’s First Saké Brewery

SakéOne: The History of Oregon’s First Saké Brewery

In 1997, SakéOne tapped into the ideal waters of the Willamette Valley, procured exclusive rice grown in the renowned Sacramento Valley and began brewing saké in Forest Grove, Oregon. SakéOne soon became America's first successful craft saké producer.

Learn all about the history of Oregon's only saké brewery, SakéOne, and sip on premium craft saké and creative saké cocktails as saké expert Jack Lien dives into the past, present, and future of Japan's most famous beverage. Ticket includes complementary saké tastings!

Jack Lien combines his passion for Japanese food and beverage into his role as senior sales manager at SakéOne. He has 9 years of experience in the saké industry and holds a Wine and Spirit Education Trust Level 3 Award in saké with distinction. Currently, he leads sales and innovation efforts for SakéOne's Oregon craft saké lineup, as well as distinct Japanese import brands from four different prefectures: Hyogo, Aomori, Niigata, and Iwate.
