About Amelia Day & The Cloves

Amelia Day & The Cloves

Amelia Day is a queer folk powerhouse entering the conversation with mainstays like Brandi Carlile, the Indigo Girls, and Tracy Chapman. Underscoring her carefree melodies with gritty, confessional lyricism and raw, heartfelt delivery, she performs with an intimacy that makes even new listeners feel familiar. Amelia mixes elements of her adolescent South Sound mixtapes of folk, rock, and jazz, creating music that plays freely with genre, but is still undeniably "Amelia Day." Without a label, Amelia has independently sold out venues like Seattle's iconic The Triple Door, been played on popular stations like KEXP and 107.7 The End, opened for pop crooner Stephen Sanchez, and amassed over 1M streams and 75K monthly listeners on Spotify. Amelia just released her sophomore EP "Little One" in early November, which has already been met with rave reviews from publications like Grain of Salt and Outwrite.
This past year, Amelia Day has joined forces with Seattle mainstay "The Cloves" as folk rock collaboration, "Amelia Day & The Cloves." The group's unique sound, which features Wurlitzer, cello, and lush 3-part harmonies sold out The Triple Door and earned them Saturday slots at festivals like Bite of Seattle and Brew53 this summer! The Cloves are no strangers to the PNW scene; in the band's 20+ year existence, they have played live sessions on stations like KEXP, festivals like Folk Life and Chinook Fest, and classic venues like The Showbox, The Crocodile, The Triple Door, and Tractor Tavern. Amelia Day and The Cloves share their origins in the small town of Sumner, WA and are excited to bring their down-home folk rock sound back to the Spanish Ballroom in June to celebrate their first release together!
Coming off the release of her debut EP, "Eastward of Eden," singer-songwriter Amelia Day is excited to share the folk-rock originals and covers that have found her a devoted PNW audience! Splitting her time between Nashville and her hometown Sumner, Amelia is excited to be back in Washington and joining forces with The Cloves as her backing band for a series of 2023 shows. The group's unique sound, which features Wurlitzer, cello, and lush 3-part harmonies, packed their headlining Spanish Ballroom and Triple Door shows this winter!

Amelia Day has also recently performed solo at Washington venues like Tacoma's TAG Festival and The Barn at Wilson Farm, and Nashville mainstays The Basement, The End, and The East Room. The Cloves are a PNW mainstay in their own right, with experience playing venues like The Showbox, The Crocodile, and The Triple Door, as well as festivals like Folk Life and Chinook Fest. Both Amelia Day and The Cloves share their origins in the small town of Sumner, WA and are looking forward to bringing their down-home folk sound across Washington!

About The Bedheads

The Bedheads

The shaggy-looking musicians from Washington State started out as an Indie-Folk staple in their local Spokane community. They bonded in college over messy band room recordings, rehearsals in cramped practice rooms, and using their mattresses as DIY soundproofing. Practicing and recording for more than 4 years together under their former name "Spilt Milk", The Bed Heads have always focused on live performance and raw energy, while exploring longstanding ties to their Pacific Northwest roots.

When they are not playing every bar gig, grabbing paid sessions, producing for other artists, working at local studios, or practicing playback in their garage, they are opening for bands such as Stop Light Observations, Kuinka, Polyrhythmics, and VIKA as well as playing festivals such as Lucky Fest, Cannonball Fest and Terrain Bazaar. The Bed Heads are a fresh face with an established hand within the PNW. We always say, "the best music is made by best friends, while wearing their comfiest pajamas."

About Sam Parker

Sam Parker

Sam Parker and his band are a modern-day Indie/Pop/Rock group based out of Tacoma, WA. Their music is a mixture of groovy guitar licks, soulful melodies, and tasteful drum fills. The band consists of Sam Parker (guitar/vocals), Peter Gray (keyboard), Luke Westermeyer (drums), and Isaac Mac (bass). The band formed in 2019, releasing their debut EP "Fall&Rise". In 2021, Sam Parker released their first full length record "NeoLade". Due to the pandemic, their tour for their latest record was cancelled, resulting the band to invest in a gas generator and drive down the west coast performing at parks in cities from Seattle, Portland, Bend, San Francisco, and San Diego. This pandemic "tour" helped the band gain fans all over the west coast. In 2022, Sam Parker released their newest single "Lonely" which will be their first single off their upcoming album to be released later this year.
