About Crow Commute

Crow Commute

Named in honor of the black feathered friends that flood Kenmore's skies daily at dusk, Crow Commute was formed by singer/songwriter Matt Biery and bassist extraordinaire Mark Dibeh, both frequently seen at 192 Open Mic and other local venues. The band is completed by PJ Covello on keys and Jeff Crookall on cajon and harp. Matt hails from Alaska originally, and the rest of the band are long time Puget Sound residents. They play an acoustic roots/americana/folk mix of original tunes and a cover collection of diverse genres. Music influences include Head and the Heart, Lumineers, Radiohead, Elton John, Death Cab for Cutie, Billy Bragg, Elbow, and Cat Stevens amongst many others. Check out their 2024 release of recordings on Bandcamp. The band thrives on celebrating music, all the way from hosting open mics that nurture local musicians on their musical journeys to playing live shows indoor and outdoors. They all love to engage a crowd and encourage participation whenever listeners want to join in. Come join for a night of rhythmic energy, reflection, and good vibes!
