About Wind-Up Birds

Wind-Up Birds

"A throwback to the underground mystical rock acts of the 70s, Wind-Up Birds fuse poetry and psychedelia with jazz and upbeat art rock, conjuring a tender whirlwind of sound that tows the line between timeless and entirely unique."

About Scamps

Scamps

Fletcher Crone (guitar), Lio Capellero (guitar), and Paul Maturo (Drums), started jamming in late 2023, combining Paul's jazz background and classic funk influences, like Honeydrippers, Parliament, and Herbie Hancock, with Lio and Fletchers spacy guitar style and psychedelic inspiration, such as Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and the Grateful Dead. Lacking low end, the trio called on bluegrass mandolin player Ellie Olpin and stuck a raggedy gibson-esque four string in her hand. The result was groovy baselines that punch through the airy atmosphere created by Lio and Fletcher, grounding Scamps' sound to a solid funk foundation, while the guitar and vocals elevate you to fairyland. Tova Mertz was a late but great addition to Scamps. Her charisma and vocal style elevate the band's vocals and allow them to really stand out. Scamps played their debut show at the Spanish Ballroom for KUPS Fest spring 2024 and along with summer jobs and school work, is focusing on writing music and booking local shows.

About Fantastic Fogman

Fantastic Fogman

Fantastic Fogman is the artist name of Brook Jones, a musician of Tacoma, Washington. Their intimate, diversely wistful style sits at the intersection of a variety of influences: the guitar stylings of bossa nova, the song-structures of American folk music, and the free-ness of jazz. Recently, they released their first full-length record, titled Liminalism. A nine track songwriting project which meditates on the feeling of waiting for change while not realizing change is always happening.
