Did you know that the Grateful Dead are responsible for saving yogurt as we know it? In 1972, the Dead performed a benefit concert in Veneta, Oregon for Springfield Creamery - known today as Nancy's Yogurt. The show brought out Deadheads in droves as the band played for several hours in record-breaking temps with the hot sun in their eyes. It's thought to be one of the best Dead shows ever performed. In honor of the 52nd anniversary of this iconic show, we'll be listening to the entirety of the live Sunshine Daydream album, complete with food and drink specials.
