Not long ago the world was full of remote, unexplored tropical places, of which little was known. Tales of mysterious tribes, monolithic idols and steamy jungles were told, and Don "The Beachcomber,"  "Trader" Vic Bergeron and others brought the world of the exotic home – with the help of G.I.s returning from the Pacific – providing South Seas-inspired escapes from the everyday. 

The Hawaiian word kapu means "forbidden." Welcome to our forbidden bamboo hut to enjoy spirits, including more than 60 rums from tropical locales, while spirits in the form of tiki idols and masks from Papua New Guinea and Africa watch over you.
