The Mission Theater (ca. 1912) began as a Swedish Evangelical Mission before becoming a longshoreman hiring hall. The spirit and vitality of these groups still resonate from within these hallowed walls! An ornate balcony overlooks a pulpit and an expansive main floor – dancing optional! – naturally lit by several large windows. The Mission, with a movie screen, seating for 250 guests, Wi-Fi, full bar service and pub menu, is the perfect setting for multimedia presentations, concerts, meetings, class reunions or other social gatherings.
