About Kota Dorris & The Sunflowers

Kota Dorris & The Sunflowers

Kota Dorris & the Sunflowers are a Folk-tinged quartet based out of Olympia, Washington. You may find them playing a tasteful combination of Folk, Country, Indie, and Blues at bars, restaurants, basements and backyards across the Pacific Northwest. Their forthcoming record entitled, 'Waiting For The End' will be available to stream or purchase in August of 2024.

About Yarrow

Yarrow

Yarrow is a psychedelic rock band based in Western Washington. The band came together while farming veggies and flowers and has deep roots in 60s psychedelia and the blues. The love child of Jess & Jer, an Oly based blues duo, and the tasteful percussion stylings of drummer Hazel Hill, Yarrow started growing down on the farm. Now joined on auxiliary percussion and harp by Nicho Song, long time Oly musician and music curator, the band is starting to bloom. Utilizing antique equipment and a modern perspective Yarrow brings a steady, spaced out, guitar forward sound that will have you wondering what was in those brownies. Yarrow is ready to lay down the groove and take you to a timeless place where warm analog sound reverberates your bones to a feel good frequency you may have thought was a thing of the past.

About The Hinges

The Hinges

The Hinges are The Psychedelic Folk Sextet from Olympia
Washington. Now comes the 3rd Chapter in their evolution
from a duo to a six-person outfit with a new album titled
Postcard. Recorded at Avast Recording Co., Seattle, WA
and completed at Delphi Oracle Olympia, The Hinges
return with an expanded, richer and fuller "band" sound
for the heart and mind.
Karen Hancock and Danny Kelly released their first duo
CD, Surprise! in 2013 with the contribution of friend and
producer Colm Meek. Home recorded and fully self*produced, the 9 songs from that first record are still staples
in today's live sets. By the time of their second record,
2018's Buzz & Shine, they had begun playing with
drummer Robin Toye and bassist Robin Green, which
instantly gave the band and the record a richer and more
percussive feel. After Buzz & Shine's release the
recording of the next record was already underway along
with the addition of violinist Ben MacSpadden. Then the
pandemic...
The Hinges resumed recording with a whole new
approach. The band convened, post-pandemic, at Avast!
and recorded as a full live band, now expanded to the full
sextet that it is today with the addition of keyboard player
Theo Ragun. Postcard, produced by Ken Levy, is their
most expansive and dimensional endeavor yet, with plenty
of little sonic surprises throughout. Enjoy!
