coverBlue Skies For Black Hearts drops their new LP and movie, both of which are titled Embracing the Modern Age, with a show that borders on theater, cabaret and Mick and Keith's own theatrical disaster, "The Rock and Roll Circus."

The Satin Chaps are the evening's house band and Adam Rosko of Atomic Arts, the theater company responsible for Trek in the Park, will be MCing the event along with help from Laura James of Curious Comedy Theater and Jon Jolin.

In addition to a live performance by Blue Skies For Black Hearts and the debut of their 30 minute short film, The Midnight Callers will also perform a live set.

There will be many surprises. Make sure you're on time.

About Blue Skies For Black Hearts

Content

Led by songwriter and self-taught producer Pat Kearns and composed of former members of Big Jim, Man of the Year and The Very Foundation, Blue Skies for Black Hearts creates a warm and brooding mix of indie rock and the 60's-style pop of bands like The Kinks and The Beatles. These MusicFestNW and PDX Pop Now! Festival veterans layer lush vocal harmonies and intricate guitar, electric piano, and mellotron lines over songs filled with emotionally-fraught lyrics.
