OK, we know, it's kind of a wacky idea -- no one celebrates halfway to St. Valentine's Day, right? (Although, now that we think about it... nahhh...)
But, regardless, we love St. Patrick's Day and we love being halfway to it! So let's have some drinks, hear some music and have a full-on good time together. Because why not?

About The Old Yellers
The Old Yellers are: Michael Berly on guitars, bass and vocals; Matt Voth on bass, guitars and vocals; Chester "Ddog" Stumps on guitars, vocals and any other instrument needed; Wayne Waits on washboard; Ned Folkerth on drums; David Lipkind on harmonica; and Tim Connell on mandolin, tenor banjo, tin whistle, melodica, flute, piano, jaw harp and possibly the kitchen sink. With three songwriters, the band has a large collection of fine original music, and they work their way through a solid repertoire of tried and true classic songs.
"The Old Yellers [American Roots Music] are something to behold. This band isn't just old timey, laid back, sweet country sounds of yesterday. No Sir! They are also foot stompin, rabble rousing, hootin and hollerin good time music of here and now. They have it all, great harmonies, tender ballads, and nothin but good times. You just get yourself down to catch them if you can." - Burlingame Review
About Whistlin' Rufus
An acoustic group, this Whistlin' Rufus. Although some of their tunes are Irish, they are not just an Irish band. That they play traditional bluegrass instruments, some bluegrass tunes and sing close harmonies doesn't make them a true bluegrass band either. The Whistlin' Rufus artists are delightfully varied in their choice of material. They enjoy everything and like to play it too. Whistlin' Rufus favors their original compositions but don't be surprised if you hear tunes from Tim O'Brien or Green Day, The Beatles or Bill Monroe. You can be sure to hear traditional foot stompin' mountain songs, Irish ballads, and American folk favorites! Each contributes vocal harmony as well as performing a variety of tunes that are certain to get your toes tapping!
