TWB (Theater with Beer) Productions knows it's tough to get folks to the theater these days, so the company brings theater to some unlikely places -- pubs, taverns and nightclubs -- to engage the public with the rich world of live performance.
About Lamppost Reunion
Louis LaRusso's Lamppost Reunion creates a unique escape from the traditional, the conventional, and the long established norms of live theater. This production offers Central Oregon residents and visitors a rare opportunity to escape from daily life by entering the world of the Lamppost Lounge.
Father Luke's Room will be transformed into the Lamppost Lounge, Hoboken, N.J. Come meet Biggie, the antagonistic bar owner, Jobby the Jew, The Great Fred Santora, Mac the Philosophical Drunk (with a dark past), and Tommy, the second-generation bookie. They have 20 years of ‘'issues'' to resolve, with only an hour and a half to do it. Like any time old friends get together, there are plenty of laughs, puzzlements, delusions, and bad blood...adding salt to old wounds that never healed.
Doors to the Lamppost Lounge open an hour before the show starts, so that you can make a night of it! Arrive early, grab a beer and some food, and sit down and chat with Mac, Biggie and Tommy...before Fred and Jobby show up and the fireworks begin...
Tickets will be available at the door for cash only (ATM on site) for $15.
