About Cedar Hills

Meet the Cedar Hills Pub

Originally opened in 1992, this neighborhood pub moved into new digs across the street in 2017, and it was worth the trip! The sprawling – but somehow still cozy – space accommodates our busy neighborhood and 40 taps filled with handcrafted beers and ciders. A propeller tops the bar “roof” and nose cones hang from the ceiling, remnants of the area’s aeronautic past. For sports fans, plenty of TVs dot the walls to catch the big games, and fireplaces indoors and out encourage lingering over beer and cocktails.

McMenamins handcrafted spirits by the bottle to go can be purchased at Cedar Hills Pub.

We take reservations for groups 7 days a week! Please call for details and availability: (503) 641-0151.

Groups welcome! Our Pub Party Menu features pizzas, sliders, salads, tots and more for sharing (you’re welcome to order from the regular menu too).

Here at Cedar Hills, we offer Northwest-style pub fare that incorporates the freshest seasonal ingredients from local and regional growers and producers. Our pizza, soups and more are house-made, and seasonal specials are always a menu option - ask your server for details.

We offer locally made gluten-free buns for an additional charge with hamburgers and sandwiches – as well as other options catering to dietary restrictions. Please note: Although the bun is gluten-free, our kitchens are not.

Meet the "Crowlers"

It's a can...It's a growler...No, it's a Crowler®!

The Crowler® is a one-use, recyclable 32 oz. can that's filled and seamed right at the bar. As an alternative to a growler, it’s light, portable and keeps the beer fresher longer.

We purge the cans with CO2 before filling them, so no beer-degrading oxygen is added to the beer. The Crowler® is then filled immediately. The lid is applied and sealed under pressure. A Crowler® can keep beer or cider fresh and shelf stable for up to six months. Let us know what you’d like, and we’ll fill one for you, to go!

Crowler Prices:
McMenamins Ales $6 to $9 + deposit
Edgefield Ciders $7 + deposit
Guest Beer & Cider on Draft Price will vary.

History

Even for a McMenamins establishiment the propellers, gauges and other aeronautic accoutrements that dress up this pub seem completely out of place to some. That is, until you learn that the Beaverton area was once a forerunner in all phases of early aviation, and that the heart of it all was right here where the Cedar Hills pub now stands. For close to 40 years, this was the site of the Bernard airport....
