Ales On Tap

Enjoy a pint of McMenamins' finest!
Beer available to go at all McMenamins locations.

Hammerhead
A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following. To run out is an unforgivable sin.

Ruby
One of our most popular standards, we still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986:  To create an ale light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Great Western Premium 2-row and 42 pounds of Oregon-grown and processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch. Simple but delicious.  Taste the original!

India Pale Ale
Our brewers love to "mix it up" with this style. Be assured that this ale will be bitter, hoppy, and will have above average strength.

Black Rabbit Porter
Black Rabbit Porter is a semi-sweet ale with a roasty chocolate malt tone. This ale is defined by it's toasted nut flavor and a sweeter, softer finish than Terminator. Named after the elusive Black Rabbit who roams freely on the grounds at the Edgefield Manor, this ale has been an Edgefield staple for years.

Terminator Stout
Black as the darkest night. Rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover. This is a full bodied and flavor packed ale which draws it's robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains. Look for a wide array of toasted, chocolate, nutty and coffee-like flavors in every pint! The devoted swear by it, and it remains one of our top selling ales year after year.

Man-O-War IRA (Dry-hopped)
A relatively new style, the IRA (India Red Ale) combines the hop profile of an IPA with the crimson color of a Red Ale.  This stallion of a beer pours a deep red and has plenty of northwest hoppy panache.  A strong malt presence provides a sturdy foundation for the northwest hops to shine.  Each keg has been dry-hopped enhancing the hop aroma of this vibrant ale.

The Reformation ESB
On Nitro:
This tradition English-style has been brewed with a Northwest twist. Using five types both English and Northwest hop varieties, this ale is all about balance. The Reformation ESB has been mellowed by the nitro gas, allowing a smooth and citrusy flavor. So join the Reformation and enjoy this quaffable ale!

The Eleven Export Stout
Black as night, this “Grateful” Stout pours dark and enigmatic. Roasty and robust with a slightly sweet finish, with the warmth of alcohol providing this bold stout with balance, a perfect pint to sip during this rainy winter season.
